Job summary

An award-winning consultancy is seeking a PMO Planner with SC or DV clearance. The role is primarily remote but requires travel to Devonport twice a month. The successful candidate will support project planning teams, enhance planning processes, and work closely with stakeholders. The position offers £440 per day, inside IR35, with start dates available between now and early January 2026.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management ability.
• Experience with reporting into the PMO Planning Manager.
• Knowledge of P6 general use, global change, and admin knowledge.
• Capability in Monte Carlo modelling and PMB creation.
• Understanding of the EVM process.

Responsibilities

• Support the PMO in planning enhancements.
• Work with the PMO risk team on risk modelling.
• Enhance project planning teams within HMNB Devonport projects.

PMO Planner – SC / DV Cleared – Remote – (2 days per month in Devonport) - £440 per day Inside IR35

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with an award winning Consultancy to assist with their recruitment of a SC or DV cleared PMO Planner to join their team on a major defence programme.

The successful candidate will be able to begin work between now and the first week in January 2026, hold transferable SC or DV clearance and be willing to travel to Devonport 2 times per month, or once per month for 2 / 3 days.

Requirements :

• Strong stakeholder management ability
• Reporting into the PMO Planning Manager
• P6 general use, global change, and admin knowledge. Also access rights understanding
• Knowledge in supporting projects in the PMB creation and maintenance (Risk networks are run at P70)
• Risk modelling prowess and to work with the PMO risk team in Monte Carlo modelling
• Full understanding of EVM process
• Day to day planning is not a requirement as this is a PMO support role to enhance project planning teams within HMNB Devonport projects
• Support the PMO in planning enhancements going forward
• Supporting Planning Assistant development
