PMO Lead – Valeting Programme
Salary: £70,000–£80,000 + Company Car
Location: UK-Wide | 2 Days per Week in St Albans HQ | Extensive Travel

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced PMO Lead to take ownership of a large-scale, nationwide valeting programme across a UK estate of over 1,200 live operational sites.

This is a senior, high-impact role working closely with the Commercial Director and cross-functional teams across Infrastructure, Operations, Finance and Customer Care.

The Role:

You will lead the end-to-end delivery of the valeting programme, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget across a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full ownership of programme planning, delivery, budgets and reporting
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously across live operational sites
  • Coordinating internal teams, contractors and senior stakeholders
  • Leading design, pricing and utility reviews for new valeting installations
  • Managing trackers, site visits, progress reporting and governance
  • Acting as the Valeting programme “champion” across the wider business
  • Ensuring full HSE compliance across all sites
Requirements
Essential:
  • Strong project or programme management background
  • Demonstrable understanding of HSE regulations
  • Strong commercial and budget management capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
  • Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel extensively
Desirable:
  • Experience in forecourt or live operational environments
  • Knowledge of petroleum regulations
  • Strong MS Office and project management software capability
