A support service organization in the United Kingdom seeks a compassionate individual to provide respite care for a young person diagnosed with epilepsy. The role involves ensuring safety, assisting with daily routines, and engaging in meaningful conversations. This part-time position requires patience, communication skills, and preferably some experience with autism. Successful candidates must undergo a background check before employment. Flexible evening and weekend hours are available.
You will provide respite for my mother and father. You will support me both inside and outside the home to give them a break.
7.5 hours per week available.
As I attend school, sixth form, the hours will need to be either in the evenings, I arrive home at 4pm, at weekends or during the school holidays.
£12.90 per hour
40p per mile mileage when you use your car.
This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.
Wages will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
