Overview

JOB TITLE: Plumber - commercial - with the opportunity of completing gas

LOCATION: Preston based company - travel across the UK

PACKAGE: £15/£16/hour, van/fuelcard, company mobile phone, uniform, and specialist tools, overtime rates at time and a 3rd, Pension

Responsibilities

• The position is a mobile role undertaking maintenance works such as mechanical/plantroom ppm and reactive maintenance on HVAC plant, plantroom checks, pumps, vessels, valves, boosters, etc.
• There will also be bathroom installations in newly constructed or refurbished properties such as care homes or apartment blocks.
• You will be covering the UK with some periods away from base.

Candidate information

• The ideal Plumber will have experience of working on mechanical services and maintenance/facilities contracts previously with good knowledge and hands on experience with HVAC, mechanical and plantroom installation service and maintenance.
• The ideal candidate will also be familiar and comfortable installing bathrooms in refurbished or newly constructed properties such as apartment blocks and care homes.
• Experience and knowledge of plumbing installation, maintenance and site compliance will be essential along with the ability to diagnose/change valves/strainers/pumps/pressurisation units/pressure vessels/install new pipework and heating systems, etc.
• Our client is looking for someone who seeks a long-term opportunity; additional training would also be offered for the right candidate, such as commercial gas qualifications.
• Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role previously.
