Job Title: Plating Operator

Location: Glasgow

Salary: Up to £15.24phr +10% shift allowance

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are working with a client who provides advanced high‑precision manufacturing services from a centre of excellence in the UK. Due to continued demand, they are offering an exciting opportunity for a Plating Operator to join their team in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual chemical plating lines for various coatings
  • Monitor production tanks through analysis and make chemical additions as required
  • Carry out X‑ray testing for coating thickness
  • Complete job cards with all relevant process details
Qualifications & Experience
  • Educated to standard grade level
  • Demonstrable examples of dexterity
  • Experience working to high‑quality standards on precision components (desirable)
  • Health & safety conscious
  • Plating experience preferred but not essential – full training will be provided

What's in it for you?
  • Full‑time, permanent contract working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Once fully trained, you’ll move onto a two‑shift rotation (early and back shifts)
