Job summary

A leading engineering and maintenance provider in Royston is seeking an experienced professional to oversee daily operations on-site. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage teams of workers. A valid Safety Passport and the ability to read piping isometrics are essential. This is a temporary skilled role offering a rolling 11-day fortnight with 38 hours per week plus opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily operations on-site to ensure work progresses according to plan.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Managing teams of workers.
• Scheduling and coordinating deliveries of materials from stores.
• Communicating progress to management and clients.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting issues that arise during the project.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must have valid Safety Passport.
• Ability to read and interpret piping isometrics.
• Knowledge of Excel and Word would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of plastic piping not necessary but advantageous.
• Rolling 11 day fortnight, 38 hours per week plus overtime.
