Job description
Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated plasterer to work within the void investment team in Redcar, carrying out all plastering works required prior to new kitchen installs, bathroom installs, making good after property rewires including damp proofing works with experience in this field using tanking methods and a good all round knowledge of damp and mould and general repair works.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out plastering works required prior to kitchen and bathroom installs and other repairs.
  • Make good after property rewires including damp proofing works using tanking methods.
  • Apply damp and mould knowledge to repair works.
  • Mentor an apprentice, volunteer or work experience placement when required.
  • Work as part of the Redcar voids team, collaborating with other trades to turn properties around for new customers.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Experience in damp proofing and tanking methods; good knowledge of damp and mould and general repair works.
  • Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Multiskilled or competent in carrying out different trade works.
