Overview

Advanced Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Dudley for a plasma/profile cutter. This company is expanding rapidly and due to increased orders are looking to expand their team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the plasma cutting machine to cut steel plates accurately.
• Set up and calibrate the machine for different cutting requirements.
• Handle and position steel plates safely using lifting equipment as required
• Adjust gas flow rates and ensure the correct mixture of oxy-acetylene for efficient cutting.
• Monitor the cutting process and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with production teams to meet project deadlines and maintain efficiency.

Experience/Requirements

• Proven experience operating plama/profile cutting machines.
• Strong understanding of oxy-fuel cutting principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The Package

• 12-week temporary to permanent contract
• £14.50 -£15 per hour
• Shift options available, 06:00 - 22:00, 14:00 - 22:00 or permanent afternoons 14:00 - 22:00
• Options to learn and progress onto other machines
