A leading local authority-owned trading company in Dartford is seeking a Plant Operative to manage equipment operations at a Waste and Recycling Centre. The successful applicant will ensure health and safety compliance while providing excellent customer service. A valid NPORS or equivalent certificate is required. An existing NPORS, ITSSAR or equivalent accredited competence certificate in Materials Re-handler 360 is required for this role.
Managing Waste has a new opening for a Plant Operative to join our Waste and Recycling Centre in Dartford! The successful candidate will operate the plant safely and ensure the machines are kept clean inside and out. They will ensure health and safety rules are maintained by recording pre-use inspections of the plant and logging any issues and reporting to management. Plant operatives will also carry out duties of a Site Operative by greeting customers and helping them during their visit to the site.
It is essential that the successful candidate hold a NPORS, ITSSAR or equivalent accredited body operative competence certificate to operate a wheeled Materials handler with elevating cab, please consider this prior to your application.
