MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Plant Manager for a Renewable Energy Power Station near Thetford.

As a Plant Manager you will be responsible for :

• Develop and deliver business plans for projects that align with company strategy.
• Monitor project progress, report on performance, and recommend corrective actions where needed.
• Oversee long‑term asset performance, ensuring sustainable financial returns and operational resilience.
• Manage project operations, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Site Licence, and all relevant legislation.
• Drive operational efficiencies and identify synergies in processes, pricing, and service delivery.
• Lead and support a site management team, ensuring clear accountability and performance across functions.
• Inspire and develop a multi‑functional, multi‑site team, fostering engagement and continuous improvement.

To be considered for this role you should have :

• Proven experience in power industry preferably renewable energy operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross‑functional teams.
• Strong Technical education, marine engineering / mechanical / electrical engineering.
• Commercially astute with experience in project budgeting, planning and reporting.
• A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with a passion for sustainable energy.
