Plant Manager – Near Bath

£90,000 – £105,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Private Medical + Pension

Elevation Recruitment Group are working exclusively with a global manufacturing business to recruit a Plant Manager for a key high-volume site near Bath.

This is a permanent position with an immediate start available. A shorter notice period is , and candidates who are immediately available will be prioritised.

The site plays a critical role in the group’s UK operations, employing over 300 people and producing a wide range of SKUs across multiple product lines. It’s a fast-moving, complex environment, with a mix of mature and recently introduced equipment and a healthy pipeline of investment ahead.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full operational responsibility for the site, driving performance, safety, and efficiency
• Leading a senior management team across Production, Engineering, Projects, CI, Technical, and HSE
• Managing a large, unionised workforce and maintaining strong employee relations
• Ensuring high levels of OTIF performance in a multi-SKU, high-volume environment
• Supporting integration and transformation projects, including capital investments
• Maintaining compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Providing visible, effective leadership during a period of positive change

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a proven track record in a senior manufacturing leadership role (Plant Manager, Head of Operations, etc.)
• Is experienced in managing large teams in unionised settings
• Comes from a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing background (multi-product line experience ideal)
• Can lead with clarity, bring stability, and drive operational improvements
• Is available at short notice or immediately
