Planning Partner Opportunity at a Leading National Law Firm

We are seeking a Planning Partner to join a prominent national law firm. This role is based in Birmingham with travel to other offices.   • Prepare to hit the ground running as the appointed planning partner.
  • Oversee and develop a team of talented planning lawyers.
  • Provide expert guidance on a wide range of planning matters, including residential and commercial developments in both private and public sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure clients receive high-quality legal advice and representation.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Work closely with the partnership, especially the real estate team.
  • Prepare a strategic business plan as part of the recruitment process, outlining your growth strategy and overall team plan.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 10 years PQE and a strong background in planning law in both private and public sectors.
  • Ideally a current partner seeking the next career challenge.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage teams across multiple locations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills, committed to high ethical standards.
  • Technically proficient in planning, highways, and environmental law.
