The Planning and Performance Team within the CDIO Finance, Portfolio, Performance and Org Transformation offers a high standard of service to CDIO, driving operational excellence by developing the business plan, associated performance measures and holding the Leadership Team to account for performance in relation to CDIO Objectives. Through established relationships and new networks, we deliver continuous improvement in business performance and delivery, presenting accurate performance information across the business. We analyse information to identify and understand the impact on the business to influence stakeholders and challenge outcomes. We work collaboratively and corporately to support the integration of risk across CDIO, delivering business improvements through continuous planning and real-time information to drive performance discussions.

As a Planning and Performance Analyst you will be accountable for developing and maintaining high quality Performance Reporting and working with business areas to understand their requirements and develop needs.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining strong relationships with business areas
  • Developing high quality reporting that meets user requirements
  • Providing resilient leadership to promote wider understanding of the performance framework and its importance
  • Holding performance hubs with Deputy Directors
  • Delivering to time and to the required quality, ensuring assurance processes are embedded
  • Investing in the development of the team to build capability while contributing to making CDIO a great place for a technology career
Selection and Behaviours

Technical Skills
  • Strong technical reporting and data analysis skills including Power BI, with WCAG awareness
  • Experience in delivering reports to tight timescales based on user requirements
  • Ability to understand and manipulate complex data and disparate data sets and present them clearly
  • Experience in analytics, using data to identify trends and patterns
  • Ability to challenge and influence within and externally to own department
Assessment and Interview
  • As part of the interview you will need to present a Power BI report of your choice and explain how you created it. The presentation should last no more than 10 minutes.
  • Interviews will take place via video link
  • Sift and interview dates to be confirmed

  • Salary from £37,682 with HMRC contributions to the Civil Service Pension scheme
