A prominent construction firm is looking for a Planning Manager or Senior Planner to oversee significant energy projects in Norwich. Responsibilities include ensuring integrated project planning, analysis of performance metrics, and effective resource allocation. Ideal candidates will have experience managing teams on large projects of over £100 million. Degree in Construction or Engineering is required. Travel to Norwich, Essex, and Suffolk is necessary.
Murphy is recruiting for a Planning Manager or a Senior Planner to work with Energy split role between NOWZ and GGP. The Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone Project in Norwich is one of national significance, part of the UK government’s target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050. GGP, the Norwich to Tilbury scheme, is part of our delivery of the Great Grid partnership (GGP). The project is mobilising project teams to support early works, including DCO support, ahead of site commencement mid 2027. The works are split between Norwich, Essex and Suffolk, with GGP support in Birmingham. Our business supports engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects for regulated and private customers, alongside technical and engineering solutions within conventional power and energy transition markets. We aim to innovate and maintain long-standing relationships with major energy providers in multiple countries and to deliver energy security for decades to come.
