This hybrid role demands SC Clearance and expertise in managing integrated project plans, schedules, and stakeholder engagement. Qualifications

  • Support governance forums with accurate planning data and reporting.

Programme Planner – SC Cleared
Location: London (2 days per week onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Clearance: SC Clearance required
Daily Rate: Circa £500

We're looking for an experienced Programme Planner to support a complex delivery programme within a secure government environment. This role is key to providing clear, credible plans that give stakeholders confidence in delivery timescales, dependencies, and critical paths.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and own integrated programme and project plans
  • Build and manage detailed schedules, milestones, and critical paths
  • Track progress against plan, highlighting slippage, risks, and impacts
  • Work closely with PMs, delivery leads, and PMO to align plans across workstreams
  • Manage interdependencies and sequencing across multiple teams
  • Support governance forums with accurate planning data and reporting
  • Scenario plan and re-forecast to support decision-making
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Planner on complex programmes or portfolios
  • Strong working knowledge of planning tools (e.g. "MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar")
  • Experience working in structured programme environments (public sector preferred)
  • Ability to challenge delivery teams constructively on dates, assumptions, and dependencies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
