Job description

Job Title: Experienced Pipe Fitter

Location: Near Tiverton
Salary: up to £40,000 plus benefits
Employment Type: Permanent 40 hours per week plus overtime.

We are recruiting an experienced commercial pipe fitter for our leading biomass and renewables engineering client based on the Devon, Somerset border.

Due to their national coverage the role will require the successful candidate to work away. A company vehicle will be provided.

Role Responsibilities

• Install and fit pipework for biomass boiler systems and district heating networks.
• Work with steel, copper, and pre-insulated pipe systems for LTHW and HTHW applications.
• Interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate assembly and alignment.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality installations.
• Maintain strict health and safety standards on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a pipe fitter in commercial or industrial heating projects.
• Strong knowledge of pipe materials and welding/threading techniques.
• Ability to read and work from technical schematics.
• CSCS card and valid driving license required.
• Experience with biomass or district heating systems is highly desirable.
