Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join our dedicated therapy team within the West Kent community hospitals. Based primarily at Tonbridge Cottage Hospital which delivers care across the NOF pathway, frailty, and a range of orthopaedic and medical conditions. You may also provide cover at our Hawkhurst and Tenterden sites when required. Working alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists and therapy assistants, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person centred rehabilitation to inpatients with diverse needs. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with local partners to enhance patient care, contribute to safe and timely discharges, and support continuous improvement initiatives, all within a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

Qualifications and requirements
  • HCPC registration with relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; capable of supporting junior colleagues and therapy assistants.
  • Good IT, written and verbal communication skills to liaise with healthcare professionals, patients and carers.
  • Clinical competence, flexibility and a proactive approach; ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom prior to applying.
  • Full UK driving licence if driving is a requirement of the role (driving may be required).
