A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Community Mental Health Recovery Service. The role involves patient assessments, managing healthcare, and implementing management plans under supervision. Candidates must be GMC registered and possess a valid driving licence. The trust promotes flexible working arrangements and provides excellent support for staff development.
The Physician Assistant will be employed by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and will work in the Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS) according to the timetable in the job plan. The clinical supervisor will undertake 3-monthly reviews to oversee and support the development of the post-holder, with support from the Associate Medical Director.
Applicants must have passed the PANE and must be formally registered with the GMC at the time of application. The post holder is expected to take full accountability for the care they provide and must adhere to Good Medical Practice and the professional standards set out by the General Medical Council (GMC). Physician Assistants working within the trust are covered by the Department of Health 2012 Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts (CNST). Candidates must possess a valid driving licence and be able to drive unrestricted use of a car or motorcycle for work at all times including community based work.
