Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Phototherapy Nurse to join our Dermatology team at Health Harmonie. You will play a key role in delivering safe and effective phototherapy treatments to patients with a range of dermatological conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and other chronic skin disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Administer phototherapy treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.
  • Monitor patients during and after treatment for adverse reactions and ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, skin care, and phototherapy risks and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health systems.
  • Collaborate with dermatologists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated according to safety standards.

Person Specification
Experience
  • Previous experience in dermatology or phototherapy is essential.
  • Experience using Daavlin, Waldmann, or similar phototherapy units.
  • Familiarity with EMIS or similar electronic patient record systems.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (NMC registration required).
  • Knowledge of skin conditions and their management.
