Trainee Phlebotomist – Field Based. Location: Faringdon, Hatford, Radcot, Watchfield, Bampton, Stanford in the Vale. Salary: £27,783 per year plus Commission, Overtime, Expenses and Benefits.
You will be known internally as a Health Assessment Specialist and will join a passionate team delivering high-quality health assessments across your region.

Responsibilities, Hours And Day-to-Day
- Work 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (total 40 hours), hours between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday. Shifts allocated 3-weeks in advance by the resource planner.
- Drive up to 2 hours to reach the venue (this would be outside the 10-hour shift); some venues may require public transport.
- Work across multiple clinic venues within the region; maintain high-quality service and adapt to different environments.
- Plan routes at the start of each day, travel to the allocated venue, greet customers, and manage daily caseload (approximately 15 to 22 customers per day; appointments 10–45 minutes depending on package).
- Perform health assessments based on selected packages (e.g., PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy when qualified, Lung Function, Body Composition, short fitness tests) and advise on appropriate follow-up testing where appropriate. Maintain administration records.
- You will not relay results or lifestyle advice to customers after assessments.
What We'd Like To See From You
- A Full UK Driver’s Licence and access to your own car (you will transport your kit to venues; ability to store kit at home)
- Availability to work any days Monday to Sunday and any times 6am–10pm on a rota basis (example shifts: 6am–4pm, 8am–6pm, 1pm–10pm)
- Ability to use computers/laptops/phones/tablets
- Clear DBS (we will process this on your behalf)
- Ability to travel up to 2 hours from home location; occasional overnight stays may be required
- Living within the correct distance of the regional location
- Attend Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training (Mon–Fri for both weeks)
- Willingness to learn and take on new skills
- On onboarding, satisfactory enhanced criminal records check (covered by us)
- All roles require a satisfactory criminal record check as part of onboarding
