Qualifications

• Previous phlebotomy experience.

• Sympathetic to the needs of the patient.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting blood samples from patients.
• Performing basic clinical measurements like height and weight.
• Administering care within legislation and policies.

Skills

Good written and verbal communication

Ability to work independently

Basic skills in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of clinical IT system Emis web/TPP system one

Education

GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent

Care Certificate

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
