A leading NHS trust in the UK is looking for a Pharmacy Aseptic Services Technician to join their busy pharmacy aseptic team. The role requires UK professional registration or being close to qualifying. Responsibilities include performing pre-manufacture checks, generating worksheets, and aseptic manufacturing of products. Strong communication and IT skills are vital. The position is based in a fast-paced environment focused on high-quality aseptic services.
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Aseptic Services Technician to join our large and busy pharmacy aseptic team. You will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council or the Science Council, or be recently qualified/close to qualifying and preparing to register. If you are close to qualifying as a Pharmacy Technician and are successful in gaining this post, you will be required to have completed 2 years\' work experience with your current employer and gain registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council before you can start work in this post. Pharmacy Technicians and Science Manufacturing Technicians are vital members of the pharmacy aseptic team who work closely with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants and other staff within the Pharmacy and Trust.

The department is large and fast-paced, with a focus on safe, high-quality aseptic services and chemotherapy provision. The Pharmacy Department provides a fully comprehensive pharmaceutical service across the Trust and external units, with over 180 staff members and a daily dispensing volume of around 2,500 items. We support an expansion of chemotherapy services with new funding for the Aseptic Services department.
