A leading retail chain in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to support pharmacy operations. This role requires a strong customer focus and attention to detail in dispensing medication. You will assist customers with their needs and provide pharmacy services as per established standards. Applicants should have pharmacy experience and a commitment to training and development. Full-time positions with guaranteed hours are available.
Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 an hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we also have opportunities for this.
The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, so if the times you’re available to work closely match but are not exactly the times we are advertising, we’d still love to hear from you.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do.
Every day you’ll have the opportunity to make things better for customers in all sorts of ways, such as helping them with new medicines, providing vaccinations, reviewing their medication use, and checking blood pressure or blood glucose. It’s very much about supporting our communities and giving local people the best healthcare choices.
Working alongside experienced Pharmacists and managers, you will receive local management and leadership support in whatever store you are based.
We are looking for talented and driven Pharmacy professionals who can deliver the highest quality service to our customers, and in return we’ll provide a supportive team, detailed industry training and a varied working environment.
Should you be successful, your offer will be subject to and conditional upon you providing your bank account details before your agreed start date.
We’re proud to have been accredited Disability Confident Leader and are committed to a fully inclusive and accessible recruitment process. For further information on the accessibility support we can offer, please click here.
Individuals must be at least 18 years old. Roles that require working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or involve warehouse, beer, wine, spirits, counter, bakery or driving roles require candidates over 18.
Applicants should note that high volumes of applicants may cause some roles to close earlier than the advertised end date. We will only provide feedback to candidates who attend an interview.
