Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 an hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we also have opportunities for this.

The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, so if the times you’re available to work closely match but are not exactly the times we are advertising, we’d still love to hear from you.

Every day you’ll have the opportunity to make things better for customers in all sorts of ways, such as helping them with new medicines, providing vaccinations, reviewing their medication use, and checking blood pressure or blood glucose. Working alongside experienced Pharmacists and managers, you will receive local management and leadership support in whatever store you are based.

We are looking for talented and driven Pharmacy professionals who can deliver the highest quality service to our customers, and in return we’ll provide a supportive team, detailed industry training and a varied working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operation of one of our new modern Pharmacies.
  • Apply your technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication.
  • Dispense prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Talk to customers and offer information in a confident, friendly and professional manner.
  • Offer appropriate information on common ailments, symptoms and products.
  • Take time to understand customers’ needs, explain product benefits, and sell only the right products.
  • Advise customers on the range of Pharmacy services available.
  • Support and deliver Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assess the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
  • Deal with clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within your area of competence.
  • Respond to patient queries in relation to prescription medicines and inform the Pharmacist of any complaints.
  • Ensure all dispensary routines and SOPs are followed.
  • Maintain dispensary and consulting rooms that are clean, tidy and clutter‑free.
  • Ensure all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time.
  • Bring promotional activities and company initiatives to life within the team.
  • Carry out all procedures accurately to protect profit and trade safely and legally.
  • Complete corporate and departmental training.
  • Keep up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
