CLASSIFICATION/STATUS: Exempt, Full-Time, Permanent
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Pharmacy
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

SALARY BAND: Band H ($123,000 to $156,000 annual)
The mission of Charles River Community Health (CRCH)is to partner with individuals and families so they can thrive and lead healthier lives by delivering the comprehensive, integrated, and equitable primary healthcare that matters most to them. The Pharmacist will be responsible for the operation of the pharmacy including, but not limited to, operational and clinical services such as purchasing, preparation, and distribution of drugs. The Pharmacist will also be responsible for clinical oversight and interaction with medical staff, as well as the appropriate and timely submission and reconciliation of drug claims.
· Responsible for all activities related to dispensing medications.
· Responsible for the accurate delivery of services to clients.
· Work collaboratively with administration, providers, and nursing staff to provide quality care.
· Ensure that billing documents and inventory control records are completed and accurate.
· Ensure strict compliance with all standardized professional policies and procedures.
· Work in collaboration with other pharmacy staff to achieve clinical effectiveness.
· Ensure adherence to State and Federal laws and regulations.
· Maintain strict control over distribution and usage of all medications, including perpetual documentation of all controlled substances in Schedules II-V.
· Responsible for 340B compliance when filling and checking medications.
· Ensure appropriate record-keeping in accordance with State and Federal regulations, and PBM Contracts.
· Process and verify pharmacy claims for accuracy and resolve third‑party rejections.
· Monitor and participate in QA activities within the department.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy or designee.
