Job summary

A local care agency in Portglenone is seeking a Personal Carer for an elderly gentleman with dementia. Responsibilities include providing light personal care, assisting with mealtimes, and accompanying him to appointments. Ideal candidates will have access to a car, be calm and patient; experience in elder care is a plus but not essential. This role offers flexible hours covering annual leave and additional sick leave. Salary is £15.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Access NI checks will be required.
• Access to/own car is necessary.
• An interest in farming or ability to discuss this.
• Interest in assisting with wordsearches.
• Previous experience caring for adults with dementia is welcomed.
• Ability to remain calm, understanding, and patient.

Further Information
