Personal Care Assistant for a person P/T@ £13.74/hr in Morpeth - FTE - £26.8k

We are looking to recruit back up support workers to cover illness and annual leave, for a gentleman who has Cerebral Palsy, Arthritis and some associated needs due to these conditions.

Support will be at home in the mid-morning for 6 days each week, for 45 minutes per visit. The days will vary on a fortnightly basis, due to the shift schedule of the client’s husband. We can share more specific details around this with interested applicants, as this pattern is currently being updated.

The main duties are to support with showering and dressing, meal preparation and medication prompts. The client has a dog who is very friendly and it’s therefore essential that the support workers like dogs and have no allergies.

The successful applicant must:
