A care assistance organization is looking for a female Personal Assistant/Carer in London. The role involves supporting an adorable mature woman with Down’s Syndrome and dementia, enabling her participation in daily activities. Candidates should be caring, flexible, and able to assist with personal care. Ideal applicants will possess good communication skills in English and have an appreciation for nutrition. This position offers a pay rate of £14.00 per hour with structured working hours and holiday entitlement.
Personal Assistant / Carer
Kind, artistic and patient female personal assistant/carer required for an intelligent, adorable mature woman with Down’s Syndrome, who has recently developed symptoms of dementia and lives in a family home in Hampstead (shared with some family members). She has previously led a full creative and independent life, including as a paid employee. We are looking for a permanent personal assistant to join an existing team to support with personal care (including continence management) and enable participation in a range of activities at home and in the community. Foster and maintain the client’s integration and inclusion. The client enjoys drawing, painting, sewing, socialising, conversation, singing and walking. She was a trustee of The Downs Syndrome Association for many years and continues as an ambassador.
It would be beneficial for the applicant to be within 30 minutes travelling distance.

16 hours per week: Friday 9am-5:30pm, Saturday 9am-5:30pm.
Rate of Pay £14.00 per hour gross. Wages paid through payroll.
