Personal Assistant for a lady P/T @ £12.60 p/h in LS 14

My profile I suffer with mental health, low mood, anxiety and everything that comes with it. I lack in self‑motivation and have good and bad days. I also have Spina Bifida which also restricts my day‑to‑day activities for example housework and general moving around. I am respectful towards others and expect the same in return. As my mood changes at times, I have found that a bit of humour is beneficial to me and helps lighten the mood. I have also found that listening to music helps to motivate me. I am a lover of animals, and I have a beautiful 3‑year‑old Frenchie called Dusty, she is harmless and keeps me company.

What are the duties?

• Support to motivate me at my low times
• Support with learning new domestic skills e.g. cooking
• Support with paperwork, letters etc.
• Support to assist with going out to do shopping
• Support to assist with attending appointments
• Support to source and access interests and hobbies

Requirements:

• An awareness and understanding of my health condition.
• You must be reliable, compassionate and conscientious, have a friendly approachable manner, sensitive when needed, flexible and fun to be around.
• Full clean driving licence preferred but not essential.
• A Full DBS check will be required.
• Any relevant experience will be considered if the skills can be applied to this role.
