Overview

Hours: 5 hours per week – Mondays from 10:00am to 3:00pm (with potential for additional hours to cover holidays, sickness, or respite)

Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour Gross

Role Description

A Personal Assistant is required for a 25-year-old man with autism and a learning disability, to provide support with social activities, and maintaining a consistent routine. He enjoys going to the gym, gaming, walking, and values structure in his weekly schedule. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and supportive of routine-based engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the supported person with attending the gym, on walks and participating in community activities.
• Assisting the supported person to come up with and plan activities.
• Assisting the supported person to maintain a weekly routine.
• Providing general social support.
• Any other duties commensurate with the role of Personal Assistant.

Requirements

• Driving Licence required? Driving licence and own car preferred.
• Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or be willing to join this scheme and share these details with the employer.
