A support organization in the UK is seeking a Personal Assistant to help a creative 14-year-old named Arthur. The role involves building a relationship through gaming and outings, with flexible hours starting at 1–2 hours per week. Rate of Pay : £12.60 per hour
We’re looking for a kind, patient and understanding Personal Assistant to support Arthur, a creative and witty 14-year-old living in South West York.
Arthur is Autistic with PDA characteristics and has ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), which means his food choices are limited. He sometimes finds walking difficult over longer distances, so he uses a wheelchair when out and about.
He currently learns through a mix of online education with a specialist provider and one weekly school session.
At first, your role will be about hanging out with Arthur at home, getting to know him, and building a trusting relationship. Once you’ve got to know each other, your adventures may expand to short trips out.
