A local authority partner in Cardiff seeks a Personal Adviser to support and guide young people aged 16‑25 who are leaving care. The role involves managing a caseload, building relationships, and contributing to Pathway Plans. Candidates must be available to start immediately, with experience working with vulnerable individuals. This is a 3-month contract with potential for extension.
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Personal Adviser, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £16.22 - £21.20 per hour
The Personal Adviser will provide direct support, guidance and advice to young people aged 16‑25 who are leaving care or are eligible for leaving care services, including former Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC). The post holder will work in partnership with internal and external agencies to help young people develop independence skills, access education, training and employment, secure suitable accommodation, manage their finances and maintain their emotional and physical well‑being. Personal Advisers play a key role in helping care‑experienced young people achieve positive outcomes as they transition to adulthood.
