A leading independent waste to energy company is looking for a Permit Office Technician to support day-to-day operations at two facilities on the Thames Estuary. You will handle planning outages, operating mobile plant, and managing site consumables. The successful candidate must have experience with permits and engineering processes. Basic salary is up to £39,000, with a potential bonus of up to 12.5%. A clear progression and development plan is also available.
Astutes Power Team are working with a leading independent waste to energy company with two power stations located on the Thames Estuary. The combined facilities are capable of processing around 1.5 million tonnes of waste per year, producing over 120MW of power for the local area.
As the Permit Office Technician you will be responsible for supporting the Permit Office Coordinator with the day-to-day operations across both facilities within the Permit Office, which includes planning outages, carrying out plant isolations, managing site consumables and reviewing work procedures and risk assessments.
The role will also require assistance to the day shift operations with the activities associated to the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
