Job summary

A leading HR consultancy seeks a People Advisor Manager to develop a team focused on promoting a people culture while ensuring compliance with UK employment laws. Responsibilities include managing company restructures, guiding performance management, and maintaining HR policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive senior advisory experience and preferably hold a CIPD qualification. This role is fully remote with a salary up to £50,000.

People Advisor Manager | Fully Remote | Salary up to £50000

Cherry Professional are currently a People Advisor Manager. You will develop the team and operation to ensure that the service is efficient and effective in promoting a people culture that identifies risk to the business from an employment law and commercial perspective.

Responsibilities
  • Managing company restructures
  • Ensuring company restructures are managing compliantly
  • Managing redundancy processes
  • Ensure that process and corporate governance is in place and adhered to.
  • Support manage and maintain third party accounts/contracts which support team service delivery.
  • Develop, analyse and present Management Information to support drive continuous improvement across the function.
  • Advise managers on performance management, coaching, and disciplinary matters.
  • Performance Management
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in setting clear performance goals and providing constructive feedback.
  • Monitor and report on performance trends to drive improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance and Policy
  • Ensure full compliance with UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with best practices.
  • Stay informed on legal and regulatory developments impacting HR operations
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in a senior advisory role.
  • Previous experience of supervising more junior HR Advisors.
  • Previous experience of influencing managers via telephone and face to face.
  • Previous experience of managing or supporting business wide change.
  • Previous experience of working with trade unions.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or higher) is desirable
