A local recruitment agency is seeking a Pension Fund Payroll Manager to start immediately. The role involves leading a team and administering payroll for 20,000 pensioners using the Altair system. The position is office-based in Trowbridge, with potential travel to other council locations. This is a temporary contract for a minimum of 3 months with a daily rate of £215.

Overview

Immediate Start Available. Pension Fund Payroll Manager - Wiltshire Council.

Salary: £215 Per Day

Hours: 37 Hours

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday

Contract Length: 3 Months +

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA148JN

Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team and administer the payroll for 20,000 pensioners using a payroll system integrated with the pension administration system (Altair).
  • Ensure that all appropriate checks and controls are operating effectively, meet payment and HMRC deadlines, and support the rest of the team.
  • Office based, but may involve some travelling to other council buildings.
  • Cover for the Pension Fund Payroll Manager as required.
