Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Education teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? Do you have a passion for promoting physical activity, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle in young people? If so, an exciting opportunity awaits you at our energetic secondary school in Nottingham!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PE teacher to join our thriving and supportive PE department, commencing in September 2025. This is a fantastic chance to make a positive impact on our students\' physical and mental well-being, fostering a lifelong love of sport and exercise.

Responsibilities
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on your specialisms and the school\'s needs). This will encompass a variety of sports, games, and fitness activities.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and the development of physical skills.
  • Utilizing a range of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse abilities and ensure all students experience success and develop a positive attitude towards physical activity.
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress in line with school policies, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of the PE curriculum and resources.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues within the PE department and across the school.
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour management and ensuring the safety of students during all physical activities.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school through extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events.
