Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PE Teacher with proven experience teaching female students to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of physical activity, promote healthy lifestyles, and deliver high-quality lessons across a variety of sports and fitness disciplines. Beginning September 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for girls across KS3 and KS4
  • Promote inclusion and ensure all students, regardless of ability, can participate and progress
  • Organise and lead extra-curricular clubs, teams, and inter-school competitions
  • Support whole-school initiatives around health, wellbeing, and physical activity
  • Maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to departmental planning
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong background in teaching PE, with specific experience in girls’ sport and physical education
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a PE Teacher
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety in a PE context
  • A passion for encouraging lifelong fitness and teamwork
