A leading healthcare provider in the City of Edinburgh is seeking a Healthcare Logistics Driver to deliver and collect medicines. This role involves building relationships with care homes and ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety protocols. Candidates should have at least a year of driving experience and a genuine desire to help people. Full training is provided. Benefits include retirement savings and employee discounts.
Joining us as a Boots Healthcare Logistics Driver (HLD) is a great opportunity. You’ll deliver first class care to those in the community who might otherwise never visit a Boots store. You’ll be part of a unique service that prioritises the patient behind the parcel; this role offers much more than other delivery positions.
You will report into the Healthcare Logistics Manager and provide outstanding customer care by delivering and collecting medicines from care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and other Boots stores within an allocated route time. You will help ensure timely and accurate deliveries while following safety protocols. You’ll be provided with a Boots-maintained vehicle and the training and equipment needed to work safely, including a handheld device that provides pre-planned routing and satellite navigation.

We are looking for drivers who can be flexible to meet customers’ needs. Basic hours will be FT/PT per week, 5 days Monday to Saturday, covering AM, PM and Evening shifts. Typical start/finish times are 8:45–13:00, 13:45–17:00 and 18:00–21:00. You will be on-call for one additional shift per week as needed.
