Job description

TrinityHealth Group PCN is looking to recruit an additional Pharmacy Technician to join our existing team. The current team have built excellent working relationships between themselves and colleagues across the PCN, practices and colleagues from other PCNs. This is an exciting time to join Primary Care and shape the future of patient care at the first points of contact.

Main duties of the job

The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with the PCN Pharmacy Team, GPs and other members of the PCN and practices. The post holder will work within a pharmacy hub with support and guidance from other pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to provide safe patient centred care. The pharmacy technician will provide technical and administrative support to the clinical pharmacists and clinicians within practice. The post holder will be supported by the clinical pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to respond to medication related queries and acute prescription requests within their competency, and medicines reconciliation following discharge from another care provider.

You must be independently mobile and be able to travel across the practices within Trinity Health Group PCN and the wider Wakefield district
