CMA Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively supporting our Christchurch, Dorst client who is currently recruiting for a payroll specialist to join their dynamic, busy finance team. As payroll specialist you will be responsible for end‑to‑end payroll completely multiple payroll runs on a monthly basis.

As Payroll Specialist you will be working closely with external managers and supporting the Head of Finance with payroll month and year end duties.

What will the Payroll Specialist role involve?

• Processing multiple monthly end‑to‑end payroll including salary and hourly paid staff members
• Main point of contact for any payroll queries
• Ensuring employee records are up to date such as starters/leavers and ensuring compliance with HMRC
• Overseeing statutory payment such as SSP/SMP/SPP in addition to pension and NI
• Managing month end and year end processes
• Opportunity to improve payroll systems and automation

Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Specialist vacancy:

• Experience processing high employee multiple monthly payrolls
• Ideally experience working with dynamic payroll runs, such has hourly paid and overtime adjustments
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation
• Work towards tight deadlines
