Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking 3 proactive Payroll Advisors to support payroll operations in Guildford or Bournemouth. The role involves ensuring accurate payroll administration and responding to queries while collaborating with the People & Culture team. Ideal candidates have strong payroll experience and Excel skills. This position includes a hybrid work model and a competitive day rate.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous payroll experience.
  • Proficient in manual processing of payroll, including holiday and sick pay calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate administration of payroll data.
  • Respond to employee and HMRC queries regarding payroll.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture team for payroll initiatives.

Our client is currently a well known Insurance company are currently looking to hire 3 Payroll Advisors / Officers to join a busy Payroll Team of 15.

Location : Guildford, Surrey or Bournemouth

Duration : 6 Months

Day Rate : £160 / £170prd (via Umbrella / Inside IR35)

HYBRID : 2 Days on-site - Either Guildford or Bournemouth

We're looking for 3 proactive and detail-oriented individuals to play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of payroll operations across our organisation.

Working closely with both our People & Culture team and our payroll provider, you'll help ensure the smooth and accurate administration of payroll data.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll also contribute to strategic payroll initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across the payroll function.

Experience Required :
  • Previous Payroll Experience
  • Ability to manage end to end Payroll
  • Delivery of accurate monthly payroll.
  • Manual processing of Payroll (Calculation of Holiday Pay, Sick Pay, Benefits etc)
  • Responsible for the day to day payroll administration and data input.
  • Understanding of employee benefits in relation to payroll and taxation.
  • Responds to queries from employees, HMRC and the Business on payroll matters.
  • Payroll System and MI
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
