Job description

A leading Fylde Coast company is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager on a fixed-term contract for a minimum period of 12 months.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the payroll system to ensure accurate reporting and implementing necessary changes.
  • Supporting the Head of Payroll with the calculation and communication of annual salary and bonus reviews, along with other ad-hoc projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC legislation and Auto Enrolment deadlines.
  • Supporting the Finance department with data provision for budget preparation, cost analysis, and GL account reconciliation.
  • Preparing all year-end statutory information and HMRC returns.
  • Maintaining the P11D module for benefit-in-kind submissions.
  • Providing accurate information to pension scheme administrators for year-end schedules and renewals.
  • Supporting HR and external customers as needed.
  • Continuously improving payroll processes and systems.

Requirements:

Experience managing high-volume payrolls (over 300 employees), strong understanding of manual and computerized payroll systems, and up-to-date knowledge of legislation are mandatory.
