Citadel Source is partnering with a successful, well‑known company based in the Bristol area to recruit an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their payroll team.

The role

In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in managing and administering rewards programs, supporting payroll operations, and helping shape the future of in‑house payroll management.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need prior experience in a similar position and a strong understanding of payroll. You will be detail‑oriented, organised and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

As a Payroll Assistant, your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Monthly payroll administration support to include new starters, leavers and benefit changes
  • Update and maintain the benefits portal
  • Assist with year end transactions, including P60s etc
  • Monitoring the payroll inbox and acting on queries and escalation
  • Any other payroll duties as required
  • Assist the Payroll Manager in aligning outsourced payrolls and integrating them in‑house
