Job description
Overview

Are you passionate about precision, compliance, and delivering exceptional payroll services across multiple countries? Join our team as an EMEAI Payroll Specialist, where youll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations for our diverse workforce.

This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multi-country payroll activities and ensure timely, accurate data submission to our outsourced vendor
  • Oversee payroll compliance with local laws and regulations across the EMEAI region
  • Perform internal controls to safeguard financial data and employee privacy
  • Act as the first point of escalation for payroll queries and resolve operational issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, HR, Global Payroll) and external partners
  • Support payroll transition and implementation projects, including Time & Attendance systems
  • Prepare year-end reporting and ensure compliance with tax and social security requirements
  • Identify process improvements and drive continuous efficiency initiatives
  • Provide accurate forecasts and reporting to support Finance and GSC functions
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting / Finance, Business Administration, HR, or equivalent experience
  • Ideally educated to A-level or similar; NVQ in Business, Finance, or Administration
  • Payroll certifications preferred (CPA, BF, or comparable)
  • Additional European language skills (especially French) are a plus
  • Strong understanding of EMEAI payroll practices and compliance
  • Experience with multi-country payroll operations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and controls; project experience is advantageous
