What you’ll do

As a Payroll Administrator you will work as part of the UK Team to provide a fully managed end‑to‑end payroll service for 26 sites covering over 4,000 employees. Responsibilities include:

  • Process monthly T&A timesheets through Oracle Payroll Software
  • Process monthly absence spreadsheets through Oracle Payroll Software
  • Process monthly data packs from sites through Oracle Payroll Software
  • Produce month‑end finance pack of reports for Site HR & Financial Controller
  • Produce and post month‑end payslips to employees/sites
  • Produce month‑end recharges to individual sites
  • Produce month‑end journals for finance teams
  • Provide support to HR & Finance with payroll knowledge
  • Process payment requests from third‑party providers and submit remittances
  • Complete information requests from third‑party providers (HMCS CSA)
  • Support Payroll Team Leader onboard new starters to the UK payroll team
  • Provide T&A support to cover absences within the department and ensure no loss of service
  • Provide payroll support & knowledge to other members within the payroll team
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in payroll, minimum 1 year
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade B / 6 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SAP, etc.)
  • Manual tax & NI calculation proficiency
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, highly transactional environment
  • Advanced payroll data‑entry skills and the ability to think outside the box
  • Openness to support process improvement and finance transformation initiatives
  • Oracle Payroll Software experience
