Job description

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, resilient, and secure architecture solutions for core banking and current account journeys, including loans, account switching, and payments.
• Provide architectural leadership across cards and payments systems, covering card issuance and authorisation journeys.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and business analysts to align technical solutions with business requirements and regulatory controls.
• Own architectural governance by producing and reviewing design artefacts covering security, privacy, risk, and records management.
• Guide integration strategies across core banking, payments, and cards platforms, balancing cloud adoption, automation, and compliance.
• Evaluate vendor solutions, support systems strategy, and drive automation to reduce operational overhead and manual processes.
