A leading healthcare organization in Sheffield seeks a Patient Safety Manager to lead safety investigations and ensure high standards in clinical governance. You will oversee incident management, support complex investigations, and promote a culture of safety and learning within the trust. The Clinical Governance Department plays a vital role in leading patient safety, clinical audit, complaints, health and safety, and risk management across the Trust. We work collaboratively to reduce risk and promote safe, high-quality care. As Patient Safety Manager, you will lead the provision of a first-class safety investigatory service across the Trust. You will provide advice and support to a team of Learning Response Leads, patient safety investigators, and Care Group managers on a range of complex issues including investigation scope, terms of reference, and stakeholder engagement. You will help develop the Learning Response service to ensure all patient safety investigations are completed and to a high standard, using PSIRF and investigation science methodologies. You will focus on timeliness, quality, and the effectiveness of learning response actions and safety improvement programmes., Reporting into the Head of Clinical Governance, your responsibilities will include:
