Job Description

This position is 40 hours per week, evenings from 3:00pm-11:30pm. Candidates must work every other weekend with Wednesday or Friday off every other week.

The role supports patient care by providing clerical, environmental, and customer service support for the patient care unit.

Salary Range

$18.00 - $23.81 an hour

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hours will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education – HS diploma or GED; or equivalent experience. A.A.S. degree preferred.
  • Experience – 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Experience working with diverse clientele who may be facing medical difficulties preferred.
  • License: N/A
  • Skills – Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Proven work history of demonstrating proficient and courteous telephone skills and interactions with all customers. Demonstrates clear, professional written and verbal communications. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications to include word processing, and e-mail at a minimum.
