Job description

We are looking for Pastry Technicians to join our Pastry team! Starting salary is £13.10 per hour with an enhanced rate of £16.38 per hour. The enhanced rate applies for hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00 and for hours over 37.5 per week.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:30, with 2 x 30-minute unpaid breaks. Start and finish times may occasionally change to meet the needs of the business, so we are seeking flexible candidates regarding their hours.

Our Pastry Technicians are passionate and committed to creating high-quality, award-winning pastries and expertly preparing pastry bases for our handcrafted product lines. As an essential part of our business, our Pastry colleagues have the opportunity to elevate their expertise through external Pastry technology courses, ensuring we stay at the forefront of innovation and craftsmanship in the industry.

Your attention to detail will ensure that we consistently meet the standards set by our diverse customer base. You will follow precise recipes to maintain our commitment to excellence, and you will be using and moving large bakery equipment. This is a fast-paced, physically active role that requires you to be on your feet for most of your shift.
