A community transport service in Ayr is looking for a Passenger Assistant to care for and supervise children and young people during their travel to and from school. Overview

South Ayrshire Community Transport are looking for Passenger Assistant for the Ayr area. The 20 Hour position will be Monday to Friday in the Mornings and Evenings. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• The care and supervision of Children and Young People with additional support requirements, while travelling to and from school
• Ensuring that each child safely boards the vehicle and is secured before travelling
• Working with the Driver of the vehicle to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers

Requirements

• Outgoing personality who enjoys working with children/young adults
• Current PVG scheme membership (Disclosure) or willingness to have a check undertaken

Salary

• Real living wage paid four weekly in arrears (currently £12.60hr) plus pro rata holidays
