Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor in Heathrow. The successful candidate will assist technicians in vehicle repairs, manage parts stock, and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or Parts Person in the automotive industry is required.
  • Retail counter and phone experience is advantageous.
  • Confident using technology and computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist technicians in finding necessary vehicle repair parts.
  • Answer phone calls and assist customers with part needs.
  • Track incoming and outgoing parts for a dealership.
  • Locate available parts when out of stock.
  • Handle part payments appropriately.

Commercial Van - Full training provided for passenger car parts advisors

£31,000++ Negotiable depending on experience + Bonuses £35,000++

Location: Heathrow

Monday to Friday: Rotating 06:00 to 15:00, 11:00 to 20:00, and 08:00 to 17:00, & sat morning on rota - 42.5hrs

Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Parts Advisor

They are looking for an experienced and dedicated Parts Advisor, who has a passion for Setting the Standard for our customers.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, who will be able to control and maximise parts stock and sales and who is able to approach the role with a commercial mindset.

The Role

Assisting technicians by looking up parts needed for vehicle repair

Answering phone calls and assisting walk-ups and wholesale customers with their part needs

Tracking all incoming or outgoing parts for a dealership

Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock

Handling part payment collection and making sure all parts are billed appropriately

Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer

Refer to parts manual to identify the right part for the make and model and year of vehicles being serviced

The Successful Individual

You have previous working experience as a Parts Advisor or Parts Person within the automotive industry.

Some retail counter and phone experience advantageous

You are computer literate and confident using technology

Ability to use all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge

Preferably van or truck experience or with a background in parts and keen to develop
